new moon

i am so excited, yet also sad. this evening i remembered that tomorrow elliott smith's album new moon will be released here in america. it thrills me beyond words to have the opportunity to hear for the first time some new music from him. as much as i am looking forward to this, i'm also quite sad as i know this could possibly be the last of the "new" music. he was such an incredible songwriter and lyricist. since his death in 2003, the music world has certainly had one less talented musician.
